And now it's over!

After 35 years of developer work I have done enough.
VVwin and VVapp will be discontinued.

• The clubs using the software may continue to use it without restrictions.
• But there will be no more free service!
• Who wants to change over, can receive all his data in table form:
  Menu item 'Database/UNLOAD'.

The version 18 has the following enhancements:

• Finances: The finance table will be adapted to the format of bank statements. This enables direct reading in online banking.

The version 17 has the following enhancements:

• New Add-on: New VVapp with the same range of functions as VVwin, with DARK design also.

The version 15 has the following enhancements:

• New development environment: Start of the Datenbase Management-System R:BASE X Enterprise (64 bit)!

The version 14 has the following enhancements:

• New design of Apps: The menu navigation of VVwin is now available in addition to the PopupMenus new toolbar buttons for common actions.
• Forms: For forms, there is an extended Navibar with eg '1 of 12' according to the selection condition.
  All forms can be printed as a screenshot and archive.
• Reports: All reports and letters are issued as PDF and archived it.
• Settings: All users addicts is presented in a separate form, the club addicts as before in the club stock.

The version 13.6 has the following enhancements:

• VVapp for Netbook and Tablet PC: VVapp is now available for Netbook and Tablet PC with Windows operating system. It is a slightly scaled-down version without changeable themes and without accessories such as language development. The database is fully compatible with the PC version – access over the network or by synchronize the \vvdb folder.

Version 13.5: Start of the newest Datenbank-Management-System R:Base 9.5 eXtreme!

• VVwin was relaunched. The programming offers with the new development environment far more possibilities than before. This will feed into the other program versions gradually.
• Finally I can give the new version out to other clubs further – thanks to the sponsorship of the TUS R&üuml;PPURR in Karlsruhe. The switch is with a valid Software Maintenance Plan VV-SWP possible. You can do this in a proven manner itself (see also Registration) & ndash; but only if your version, at least 13.0 runs flawlessly. Otherwise included in the SWP that I perform the upgrade with your data.
• An update to 13.5, there is not. In any case, a new beginning is necessary – with your old data.

The version 13.2 has the following enhancements:

• Hinweis zu SEPA: As banks merge to accept SEPA Direct Debit/Credit Transfers in domestic traffic for online banking without completed BIC, VVwin offers a choice now 'without BIC/with BIC '.
  
  In the members form the IBAN is calculated automatically from bank code and account. Get you from new members only the IBAN, so you can not type directly into the input form (but for example in the edit form). Call in this case the menu item 'Bank Data' and enter in the table the IBAN. The program then calculates bank code and account. Both are still needed!

The version 13.0 has the following enhancements:

• SEPA Direct Debit Messages: VVwin provides for the introduction of SEPA payment the print of the direct debit messages for all payers. So far, the only place automatically at new entrants. This is for those clubs which have like no club announcements or which may be used to provide information to members about the change of direct debit otherwise. As with all letters in the post system works only after successful contribution booking ('all M.No. Book')!
• Members Inquest: Not all sports leagues in Germany offer the new XML format for the exchange file. It is used to continue the old DAT format. VVwin support for transferring the inventory data and the DAT format!
• All forms have been revised and some redesigned. This and other hidden improvements you only get with a new database. You can do this ourselves - but only if your version 12.7 with the new apps absolutely error free - otherwise the part of the VVwin software maintenance plan that I take that for you.

The version 12.7 has the following enhancements:

• A new menu item Settings for Language, Window, Design, Theme in only one form. The settings are for users.
  .
• SEPA-Payments
  — In Fee Management you now find SEPA Direct Debit Communications for your members with the Mandate References. Read the help e_sepa.html.
  — In the Financial transfers and direct debits are now SEPA-compliant, as well as in Sports use.

The version 12.6 has the following enhancements:

• Members Inquest
  — The sports alliances decrease one step: There is with the years no differentiation by sports and b< active / passive more (see Version 11.5). It a lot of work was in vain. The new exchange file XML is ready.
• SEPA Core Direct Debit:
  — The new exchange file XML is ready (cashdat.xml). Read the help e_sepa.html.
• Clients:
  — A flying clients change is possible now by an already registered user, not only by the Master!
• Sports Use
  — When you have no rights for Financial: Cost accounting and Sports control are now here also!
• Design
  — VVwin has now to Designs, selected by 'Themes'!
  
  
• Security of the data on the Internet
  VVwin permits with open program and open data bank at no place the access on or by the Internet. Today it is not made sure any more that about such accesses of the opponent unauthorised also other data are not sucked off. You can access about VVwin, e.g., not directly interfaces to your sports alliance (with the Members Inquest) or your bank (with the SEPA payments) – and vice versa. We offer rather exchange files in the XML format which you can read in in the on-line main entrances of the sports alliances or the banks.

The version 12.5 has the following enhancements:

• SEPA Payments
  — All prerau's settlements for SEPA Direct Debit are fulfilled. New fields in cashdat:
  Creditor-ID, Mandate reference, Date of Mand. ref.
  Export with fix set length (cashdat.fix) and with single one fields (cashdat.csv).
  
  
• Enlarged Helps.

The version 12.3 has the following enhancement:

• Members Cards
  — Now you are able to come passport photographs for members administer and print out membership cards with or without photo on business cards.

The version 12.2 has the following enhancement:

• New Query Builder for the quick import/export of data from other programs/to other programs.
  So that the change of your club management programme lighter falls to you, you can assign well-chosen fields according to the structure to columns in VVwin and transfer. Then missing fields must be edit. This saves you an amount of tip work. They need your old data in the Excel format (*.csv).

The version 11.5 has the following enhancements:

• Members Inquest
  — The new interface to the electronic passing on of the data to the sports alliances is implemented: now beside csv there is also xml.
  — Shortly the years should be grasped instead of the age groups individually for every association and every sport, namely according to uniform criteria for all sports alliances in Germany; with it the different age divisions of the sports alliances are lost. VVwin offers in the anticipation as a trial from now csv and xml files for the handing over.
  — Now VVwin also provides the ready value row for a population pyramid.
• Statistics and Frequencies are summarised in each case and easier to serve.
• SEPA ready for payments:
  — IBAN is called "Internationally bank account Number". They are calculated in VVwin now (for German mandators) completely in the form. All banks in the ECB bank area use the same code to the calculation of the test figure.
  —> For the already available members there is new 'iban.vip': In the menu point 'UPDATE' the update is automatically explained. This update serves at the same time all mandators.
• Fee stock data
  — Now  a l l  of the 6 fee stock data are to be given about forms and to work on.

The version 11.1 has the following enhancements:

• 64 bit
  — What will interest very big associations: Now VV there is also in a 64-bit version.
  With it there falls the 2 GB database size! What performs 64 bits as opposed to 32 bit software
  read here: RBase Product comparison.
• Dealings with data in VVwin:
  — All table data are always saved encoded in the database. An access to data is not possible beyond the R:Base-developing environment. This makes VVwin certainly against attacks on your hard disk.
  — Now, Personal data are stored always encoded on the hard disk and cannot be read outside by VV. The monthly backups of the members and booking data as well as all backups belong to it with the turn of the year.
  — You can receive uncoded table data everywhere where a menu point /Export /Import is offered, e.g., in the menu point Database/Export /Import. Provide then yourselves for the fact that these files do not remain on the hard disk and do not come in wrong hands.
  — Vice versa you can force encoded backup in the menu point Database/Encoded export /Encoded import.

The version 10.5 has the following enhancements:

• Financial Accounting:
  — While the ongoing input of new bookings, the current balance of the bank or fund (the other accounts) will be displayed.
• Membership Administration:
  — The forms were far more higher and wider to better fit the 16:9 format.
  — Constantly when you enter the current membership status is displayed.
• Sports Use:
  — Trainer licenses can be better administered. The actual hours and amounts are displayed.

The version 10.1 has the following enhancements:

• E-mail programmes like Thunderbird use ldif files for the exchange of address tables together. Such ldif files are hard to be created by hand. To allow to you, to export member's addresses in your e-mail address table, a routine which creates this file was integrated into VV. VV delivers to you with this update an address table of all employees, so to members whose field 'Function' is not empty and whose e-mail address is filled, with your club name.
  —> In the menu dot 'UPDATES' the update is automatically executed. Call 'mail_ldif.vip'. Every Client must execute this update unique.
  Go later to the programme Thunderbird under 'Addressbook/Extras/Import/Addressbooks/Text file LDIF/[club name].ldif' and create a new address table in which already all data are saved.
  
  In the menu dot 'Member Administration/Data/Exportn' address tables with the new members are always created, provided that their field 'Function' is not empty and whose field 'e-mail' is filled. Import this just in Thunderbird and move then the single addresses in the club address table.
  
  
What are IBANs? IBAN bank is called "International Bank Account Number". She passes of the two-digit land sign (DE), a two-digit check number (pz), the 8-figure bank code number and him (with zeros filled in) 10-figure Account No. (in Germany). IBANs are used in future for the electronic cash SEPA.
VV is already set up for the use of SEPA: The member's table contains a field for the IBAN, also the input form. You must only fill this field – what is fairly unwieldy, because every IBAN exists of 22 characters!
What are BBANs? BBAN is called "Basic Bank Account Number". It passes of the bank code number and him (with zeros filled in) Acct No. VV delivers to you with this update the BBAN for every available member with the I.Nr. 1, so the payer in the family. In addition the land sign and 2 blank characters. You must fill these blank characters with the check number. The check number may compute only the bank, request for this, therefore, from the member. You must type only 2 check numbers – and not the 22-figure code! This offers you only VV!
—> In the menu dot 'UPDATE' the update is automatically executed. Call 'iban.vip'. This update serves at the same time all Clients. However, it functions only with already available members!
—> Annotation: For the payments needed "BIC/Swift code" is saved in VV always together with the bank code number in the master data.
—> With new members it is automatically computed the BBAN!

The version 9.7 has the following enhancements:

• Steps there to the barrier freedom 3
  To every menu dot a detailed tip (Hint) as a service help which appears with the about that go with the mouse. Also with important fields in the forms appears an explicatory text.
• The navigation between help pages is better solved.

The version 9.5 has the following enhancements:

• New operating draught:
  — Now in the start module is possible for access to all master data about a tool bar in the right margin. The 5th module 'Club Data' is cancelled. This makes easier the service: The start window stays always open, and you can access from the lower bar this and take over master data values directly in the opened form in the second window.
• Member Administration:
  — Circulars with rtf documents. You create your circular with Textmaker, Writer or Word, without address and date, and save it as a RichText in the file rundschreiben.rtf and remove it in the unterfolder \cmnd.

Now in Archive you select by name, not more to Memb. No. Non-members can be also found so.
• Now 5 cash boxes
  — in the Financial Accounting 5 (division) cash boxes exist.
• VV on Netbooks
  VV determines the screen size. Now all forms were customised.

 

The version 9.3 has the following enhancements:

• Club Data:
  — Now the 'Turn of the year' can be called regardless of the Financial Accounting immediately at the beginning of the new year, one must not wait any more for the Financial annual statement of accounts. The Financial Accounting carries out the turn of the year with the posting of the opening balance sheet.
  — The 'Turn of the year' computes and now prints automatically the member's escapes in the old year, the change lists for the fairy management and the association, departmental statistics and age statistics.
• Member Administration:
  — invitation letter.
• VV on Netbooks
  VV determines the screen size. Some forms were customised on the low display height.

 

The version 9.2 has the following enhancements:

• New Database engine
  — Quicker indexing, thereby bigger speed with record UPDATE/INSERT/DELETE.
  — Database of VV 9.1 can be simply updated.
  — VV runs for WIN XP/Vista/WIN 7.
• Member Administration:
  — Now newspaper lists are correctly sorted. If you want to add town plans of the districts for the delivers, these must be given as 'districts-key.jpg' in the unterfolder 'icons'.

 

The version 9.1 has the following enhancements:

• User Administration
  In the user administration users can be associated to single modules (as before) and also the Clients.
  

• 5 division fees
  Now in the Member Administration 5 division fees are possible beside the membership fees ,
  10 with double seizure.

The version 9.0 has the following enhancements:

• RESTORE
  You execute a recovery if damages your database files or have got lost.
  While quitting the programme the database is always archived with all data if you confirm the inquiry. It must be given in addition in the club form of the folders for archiving (is given c:\vvwin\archv). It can also be an external disk drive. The file has the name vvyymmdd.vvp with more accompanying vvyymmdd.lob. These files are encoded and not are readable beyond the programme!
  In the menu dot 'RESTORE' you select the recovery dot. Then everything automatically runs, i.e. your database is anew created with the data of a former version.
  
  —> Attention: Anew entered data after the recovery dot are lost and must be entered anew!

 

The version 8.7 has the following enhancements:

• Steps there to the barrier freedom 1
  Windows is outwitted: Not more in such a way: , but in such a way:
  all form windows scale while opening, i.e. the character font is enlarged with. With it the regulations of the 'barrier freedom' of web sites become with regard to. character font fulfils. The program menus customise themselves to the screen resolution automatically.
  
  
• Steps there to the barrier freedom 2
  You move with [Tab] by the fields of a form or click with the mouse. With the abandonment of the field this is already saved. A [Return] is not necessary. The field which is ready for the input is deposited fiercely yellow. You see so better where the cursor is responsible. A field with choice is deposited fiercely green. This means for you: 'with right click select' (not with double click). The Windows convention is fulfilled with it that a choice window with right click is opened. This concerns, as a rule, choice from the master data, e.g., key for divisions, fees, functions etc. you click, select, confirm – and the field is properly filled, the cursor goes to the next field.

The version 8.6 has the following enhancements:

• User Administration with password!
  Main user is Master. He automatically has access to all Clients and program modules.
  Only he can put on user and delete.
  The master associates to the user the modules which he may access.
  Every User must log in with name and password.
  Within the permissible program modules there are no restrictions.
  
  
• Languages! Like there function languages?
  All titles and texts in dialogs, breaks, forms, reports and program menus are saved in linguistic tables. These are read and the texts are displayed by means of a mighty PROPERTY function accordingly.
  Languages are associated to the Users!
  You can develop your language yourselves.
  English is provided.

The Version 8.5 has new functions:
